Nicklaus Suino has studied judo since 1968. He lived in Yokohama, Japan for four years, where was a direct student of Sato Shizuya, 9th dan, and a regular visitor to many judo dojos, including his local group, the Fuji Judokai at the Kanagawa Kenritsu Budokan.
Mr. Suino currently holds the rank of 6th dan and is the Director of the Judo Division of the Shudokan Martial Arts Association. He is the author of several books about the martial arts, including the very popular guide to training entitled BUDO MIND AND BODY.
Nicklaus Suino is Director of the Japanese Martial Arts Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is available to teach seminars throughout North America. He specializes in teaching judo in a systematic, progressive manner, enabling both beginners and accomplished judoka to benefit from his instruction. Contact Mr. Suino.
